Where I live I hear the truth that while racism is real, race itself was invented by people who thought themselves White. These paintings gave me a way to find dynamics, in the way black and white paint interact, that can also be read as analogs for racial dynamics. I'm not sure this a good idea.
I'm also formulating a kind logographic catalog I might draw upon in visualizing the systems that I know are in play in the world I'm in.
